Republic Day Celebration at CMS College of Education The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervor and enthusiasm at CMS College of Education, Ganapathy, Coimbatore. The event commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by the chief guest, followed by the national anthem. Faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students actively participated in the ceremony. The student-teachers, dressed in uniform sarees, stood in disciplined formation and paid tribute to the national flag. Patriotic songs were rendered by the college choir, adding to the spirit of the occasion. The celebration served as a reminder of our constitutional values and inspired the gathering to uphold the ideals of unity, integrity, and democracy.

Christmas Celebrations – A Joyous and Memorable Event The festive spirit of Christmas filled the air at CMS College of Education as the campus celebrated the season of joy and togetherness on 20th December 2024. The entire college was beautifully decorated with lights, stars, and Christmas trees, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere that brought smiles to everyone’s faces. The celebration began with a series of delightful dance and music performances by the students. Each performance reflected the enthusiasm and creativity of the participants, adding charm and energy to the celebration. Among them, Jayasakthi and I had the pleasure of performing a lively dance, which was met with great applause and appreciation from the audience. Ayudha Pooja and Vijayadashami Celebrations – A Festival of Devotion and New Beginnings The campus of CMS College of Education was filled with divine energy and festive spirit as the Ayudha Pooja and Vijayadashami celebrations were held with great enthusiasm on 9th October 2024. These auspicious festivals, rooted in tradition and reverence, were joyfully celebrated by students, faculty, and staff, marking a beautiful blend of gratitude, devotion, and fresh beginnings. The celebrations began with a soulful devotional song sung by Mukunda, which set a serene and spiritual tone for the day. The Ayudha Pooja, a ritual to honour the tools and instruments that support learning and work, was performed with deep reverence. The prayer ceremony fostered a sense of peace and reflection, emphasizing the importance of respecting knowledge and seeking divine blessings in all endeavors.
