Seminar on Child Psychology
The first seminar for the 2024–2026 batch of CMS College of Education was held on 25th September 2024, setting a strong academic tone for the new students. The session focused on the essential and fascinating topic of "Child Psychology" and was conducted by Mrs. Kumudha, Assistant Professor of Social Work. Her deep knowledge and engaging delivery made the seminar a memorable and enriching experience for all participants.
The event began on a graceful note with a soulful prayer, creating a serene and focused atmosphere. As the first academic seminar for the freshers, it marked a significant step into their professional journey as future educators.
During the session, Mrs. Kumudha provided valuable insights into the psychological development of children, discussing key stages of growth, behavioral patterns, emotional needs, and how educators can support healthy development. She explained how understanding child psychology is fundamental for teachers to foster effective communication, empathy, and a positive learning environment.
